Your purchase makes a difference.
One ZARAMIA AVA purchase = One Tree Planted
For every product sold we plant a tree with our partners at One Tree Planted Charity. We off set our carbon footprint and help the environment.
Once an item as been sold we send the gift certificate and details of where the tree is planted and what causes it supports. Such as forest fire recovery, planting trees where they are needed the most, plant trees for chimpanzees, protect the orca, the Amazon rainforest or the national forests.

Sustainable development goal 15 Life on land
‘Protect, restore and promote sustainable use of terrestrial ecosystems, sustainably manage forests, combat desertification, and halt and reverse land degradation and halt biodiversity loss’
Goal 15 Targets
15.1 By 2020, ensure the conservation, restoration and sustainable use of terrestrial and inland freshwater ecosystems and their services, in particular forests, wetlands, mountains and drylands, in line with obligations under international agreements
15.2 By 2020, promote the implementation of sustainable management of all types of forests, halt deforestation, restore degraded forests and substantially increase afforestation and reforestation globally
15.3 By 2030, combat desertification, restore degraded land and soil, including land affected by desertification, drought and floods, and strive to achieve a land degradation-neutral world
At ZARAMIA AVA we plant a tree for every item sold which helps combat deforestation and reverse land degradation and biodiversity loss
Our in house studio is powered by renewable energy.

We are lowering our carbon emissions by 5,098 of CO2 per year.
We use 13,454 kWh of renewable electricity and 889 kWh of green gas per year.

Before offsetting this reduces our emissions by 3,610kg of CO2
It would take 2,549 trees to absorb that much a year.

The rest off our gas emissions is carbon offset making it 100% carbon neutral.
We are offsetting 1,489 tonnes of CO2 each year. This does things like buying new cook stoves for families in Ghana, saving money on fuel and improving the quality of their air.
